Nike is taking inspiration from Japan, utilising traditional Sashiko stitching in the 2023 release of the Nike Dunk Low Industrial Blue Sashiko.
Nikes Dunk Low Industrial Blue Sashiko is constructed using denim uppers that feature white contrast stitching across the blue denim panels. Traditional Japanese Sashiko stitching designs are sewn into the toe box and heel tab. The Nike Dunk Low Sashiko feature white Nike branding on the tongue and insoles.
